Lin Tian is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at INSEAD. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics and her Master’s degree in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University, followed by a PhD in Economics from Columbia University. Her research focuses on the labor market consequences of international trade and spatial economic dynamics, and firms in developing countries. Her work has been published in top-tier journals includingEconometricaand theReview of Economics and Statistics. She is a fellow at the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and an associate editor at the Journal of International Economics.
