Fernando Parrois a Professor of Economics at the Pennsylvania State University. He conducts research on the determinants of trade and welfare effects of commercial and migration policies, the distributional consequences of international trade, the distribution of economic activity in space, and labor market adjustments to trade and migration. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago, a Masters in Economics from the University of Chicago, a Masters in Economics from the Catholic University of Chile, and a B.A. in Economics from the Catholic University of Chile. Previously, he was a Kenen Fellow at Princeton University, an Assistant Professor of International Economics at Johns Hopkins University, and a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Board.
