The Eleventh IEFS China Annual Conference (Online)

CALL FOR PAPERS

We are pleased to announce that the Eleventh International Economics and Finance Society (IEFS) China annual conference will be held on December 14-16, 2021 (including a Trade-GVC Policy Forum: December 16) in Beijing, China (via internet), Online conference. The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) will host the conference. The organizers of the 2021 annual conference welcome your submission for paper presentation.

The IEFS China was established in 2008 and since then we have organized annual international conferences on various topics in the field of international trade and finance. And the past conferences, hosted by University of International Business and Economics in Beijing (2009, 2010, 2011, and 2014-2019), by Nankai University in Tianjin (2012), and by Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (2013), and co-hosted by University of International Business and Economics and Capital University of Economics and Business (2015-2016), have been well attended with established and rising scholars in the field from all over the world.


This conference will feature the renowned keynotes speakers:

Supporting SSCI Journals

We are in the process of lining up a few key journals, such as Economic Modelling, Review of International Economics, World Economy, etc. as supporting journals for this conference. All speakers are strongly encouraged (though not obligated) to submit their conference papers for publication, subject to the normal refereeing process.

Papers presented at the conference, subject to further refereeing, may be considered for publication in special issue/section from one of supporting journal. More supporting SSCI journals will be available in the future, while we strongly encourage paper presenters to discuss with them and/or visit their journal websites. More information will be made available on the official websites.


Submission for Presentation

1. Submissions must be made before December 1, 2021 through Email: rigvc@uibe.edu.cn

2. While we prefer papers in their entirety, we also welcome submissions of extended abstracts (up to 500 words).

3. Upon acceptance of their papers, authors must confirm their attendance by completing the registration on or before December 12, 2021.

4. Accepted papers in their entirety must be submitted on or before December 10 2021

5. All papers will be presented in English.

Registration

All conference participants, with the exception of keynote speakers and invited speakers, must register on or before December 10, 2021. Registration fee will be waived this year.
