Personal Profile
Before moving back to UIBE in 2019, I held a teaching position in the Department of Economics at the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom. My research interests include—Organizational Economics, the Economics of Innovation, the Theory of the Firm (in particular, the boundaries of the firm), Business Strategy and the Economics of Strategy.

1. Emerging AGI and its Impacts on the Restructuring of GVCs
The project examines how advances in artificial general intelligence reshape production organisation, labour market, task allocation, and governance within global value chains.
2. Factory-less Manufacturing Firms and the Theory of Multinational Enterprises
The project investigates the rise of factory-less manufacturers and their implications for firm boundaries, the internalization logic, and the management of MNCs.
3. Modularity, Modular System and the Evolution of the Global Value Chain
The project studies how modular architectures and system-level modularity influence innovation, upgrading paths, and the dynamic evolution and reconfiguration of global value chains.
