Ayumu Kikkawa is an assistant professor in the Strategy and Business Economics Division at the Sauder School of Business of the University of British Columbia. After earning a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Tokyo in 2012, he completed a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Chicago in 2018.

Dr. Kikkawa teaches courses on international business management. His research interests focus on trade and industrial organizations. Current projects include a paper analyzing the implications of imperfect competition in firm-to-firm trade.
