对外经济贸易大学国际经济贸易学院教授。先后在国际食品研究所（IFFPRI）、斯坦福大学（Stanford University）、美国普渡大学（Purdue University）、荷兰自由大学（Free University）、荷兰农业研究局（LEI）、丹麦哥本哈根大学（Cobehagen University）、澳大利亚莫纳什大学政策研究中心（COPS）等学术机构学习和访问。主要研究领域涉及农业经济理论与政策、发展经济学、国际贸易、资源经济和一般均衡模型建模。到目前为止，在国际核心期刊公开发表英文论文50篇（SSCI文章22篇），在《经济研究》、《管理世界》、《系统工程理论与实践》等国内经济社会学类核心期刊上公开发表论文70多篇。向农业部和国办提交政策咨询报告40余份，其中10份得到国家领导人批示。主持或主要参与了50多项国内外科研项目。在2010年被模型优化软件GEMPACK团队评选为“全球杰出使用者”； 在2011年被农业部聘请为农业部农产品预警专家之一；并被世界粮农组织（FAO）聘请为“中国农业政策和决策模型”国家顾问。
